• Solution Design: translating business wishes into functional requirements and (co-)creating technical solutions;
• Configuration: customising applications by making the best use of point-and-click capabilities;
• Custom Coding: creating functionalities with VisualForce and/or Apex when out of options for point-and-click solutions;
• Integration: designing and realising API integrations with 3rd party systems in the client architecture;
• Testing and Deployment: executing system testing, fixing bugs and facilitating client UAT testing. Oh, and Go-live also!

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and 2-4 years of professional experience, of which 2+ years working experience in Salesforce application development and support;
• You have DEV401 or DEV501 certifications or are willing to get them, quickly;
• Proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Controllers, Custom Settings, Force.com, Triggers, JavaScript, JSON, and SOQL;
• Experience with web application development, including Java, C# or NodeJS, as well as HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Angular JS, JSON is very much desired;
• Strong experience in writing and maintaining code coverage with test methods;
• Committed to go the extra mile for our clients and our VANEIGENS team, with team work as a second nature;
• Specific industry knowledge and/or experience in Retail, Financial Services, Professional Services is desired;
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies (Jira, Scrum, Kanban…) is a pre;
• A flexible mindset and able to adapt to changing opportunities, developments and conditions in our business;
• Excellent proficiency in English and Dutch, other languages preferred.

As a person you have strong analytical/problem solving skills, you are detail-oriented, you have the ability to communicate with clients directly and are outcome focused. And please do have  a sense of humor!
